Stone Leung

Sited within bushland in Boat Harbour, this family home is designed to thread through the existing Blackbutt, Paperbark and Banksia trees, and step down the site toward a wetland at its base.

The design process included assessment of and a balanced response to Bio-Diversity and Bushfire constraints - ensuring the native Koalas, Powerful Owls and Squirrel Gliders were all considered.

The home includes two stepped pavillions at Ground level separated by outdoor entertaining areas, swimming pool and deck spaces, as well as a sheltered yard space, with an upper level containing the master bedroom, library/parents retreat and office spaces 'bridging' over.

Reverse Brick-Veneer construction with concrete floors as well as thermally-broken double-glazing throughout will ensure this home provides for comfortable living year round.
